Art Academy is a video game series that began in 2009 with Art Academy. The series, which belongs to Nintendo, has been made available on the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U. The games in the series are training sims that instruct players how to draw. The fourth main installment of the series, Art Academy: Atelier, which was released in 2015 and is also known as Art Academy: Home Studio, was the first one to be available on home consoles. It has additional lessons and is a variation of the SketchPad app with greater features.
