Bayonetta 2 is a 2014 action-adventure game published by Nintendo and developed by PlatinumGames. The game is the follow-up to Bayonetta from 2009. It was created specifically for the Wii U. The game has a new two-player mode, and the title character, Bayonetta, has a new outfit and hairstyle. Playing as the titular Bayonetta, who uses a combination of melee assaults and gunplay to battle numerous heavenly and demonic creatures, Bayonetta 2 maintains the action-style gameplay of its predecessor. Numerous reviews praised the battle system and other changes from the first game and gave the game high marks.
