Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter video game published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward. It is the eleventh main entry in the Call of Duty franchise. It was made available on the Wii U, as well as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The narrative in Call of Duty: Ghosts is mostly seen through the perspective of Logan Walker, though there are a number of other playable characters, including Elias Walker, Baker, Sergeant Thompson, and Riley, a German Shepherd who is the first non-human playable character in the series. The majority of critics praised Ghosts’ multiplayer gameplay and the debut of the new game mode Extinction, but some criticized it for its single-player narrative, repetition of well-worn ideas, and general lack of creativity.
