Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a role-playing action game created by Eidos-Montréal and distributed by Square Enix’s European division. A director’s cut with extra upgrades and features was published in 2013 for the Wii U and original platforms (Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360). It is a prequel to the first Deus Ex and the third installment in the Deus Ex series (2000). The role-playing game’s gameplay, which combines first-person shooter, stealth, and role-playing elements, includes exploration and combat in settings connected to various city-based hubs, as well as quests that award experience and let the main character’s abilities be customized using tools called Praxis Kits. The main criticisms were about the boss disputes and the technical issues. The redesigned gameplay in the director’s cut received accolades.
