Disney Infinity is an action-adventure sandbox video game distributed by Disney Interactive Studios and developed by Avalanche Software. Characters from Disney and Pixar titles can be unlocked through collectible figurines that are then synced with the game, allowing them to interact and embark on adventures. In addition to Wii U, the game is also accessible on Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo 3DS. Three figurines and an Infinity Base were included with the game’s Starter Pack edition. The Infinity Base contains a hexagonal location for world discs and two round spots for placing figurines. Characters are imported into the game when figurines are placed on the Infinity Base, whilst world discs enable Play Sets. Majority of critics gave Disney Infinity favorable reviews.
