Ginsei Shogi is a Japanese chess game. Two screens are used, which allows the player to display the game on one and situational information on the other. Off-TV play is also possible. On the GamePad, it is also possible to zoom in and out using touch controls. The game includes the following modes for players to enjoy: regular match, rated match, challenge match, and blitz survival match. The other features include: playing versus a human, hints, board rotation, animation settings for a piece, countdown buzzer, changing background and piece images, changing background music, checkmate warning, and altering replay speed of a recorded match. The game also allows the player to display the effects of pieces on the board.
