Just Dance 2017 is a dance video game developed and published by Ubisoft. It was the series’ eighth major entry and was made available on the Wii U as well as the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii. As in earlier games, players must accurately imitate a dance move performed by a character on-screen in order to earn points. The game accepts input from either a smartphone running the game’s companion mobile app or the appropriate motion controller system for a certain console platform. The game was nominated for “Best Family/Social Game” at the Titanium Awards and won “Favorite Video Game” at the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards.
