Lego City Undercover is an action-adventure platform video game developed by TT Fusion and published by Nintendo exclusively for the Wii U. Later, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment re-released it for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows via Steam. Based on the Lego City toyline, the story revolves around cop Chase McCain, who returns to Lego City to pursue escaped criminal Rex Fury. McCain plays the game by solving puzzles and engaging in combat while also exploring Lego City’s open-world hub. The re-released version included local two-player multiplayer while the original only supported single-player. The Wii U version received mostly positive reviews with a Metacritic score of 80, praising the humor and design but mainly criticizing the game’s excessive loading times.
