Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic point-and-click video game created and released by Telltale Games that is based on Mojang Studios’ sandbox video game Minecraft. The protagonist of the narrative is Jesse, a player-created character who begins as an ordinary person before teaming up with their friends to become a hero. The game was released on Wii U and other platforms (Windows, macOS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, iOS, and Apple TV). In December 2016, a retail version was launched. However, both of the game’s seasons are no longer playable as a result of Telltale Games’ closure in late 2018, which led to the game’s cancellation. Critics gave Minecraft: Story Mode mixed or average reviews.
