Need for Speed: Most Wanted is an open world racing game published by Electronic Arts and developed by Criterion Games. The nineteenth Need for Speed game, Most Wanted, was made available globally for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, iOS, and Android devices. Need for Speed: Most Wanted U, a Wii U version, was published in 2013. In contrast to the Hot Pursuit reboot that Criterion Games previously developed, the game adopted the Most Wanted intellectual property. Positive reviews of Need for Speed: Most Wanted focused on the globe map, which combined elements of earlier Burnout and Need for Speed games, and the social features, while negative criticisms of the single-player gameplay were voiced.
