Nintendo’s New Super Luigi U is a platform game for the Wii U. It is a Super Mario series expansion pack for New Super Mario Bros. U. The story and gameplay elements are the same as in New Super Mario Bros. U, but Luigi takes Mario’s place as the primary character. Since Luigi jumps higher and experiences less ground resistance than Mario, the challenge of each level is increased. Nabbit, a non-player character from New Super Mario Bros. U, is now an invincible playable character in the expansion. According to review aggregator website Metacritic, which gave New Super Luigi U a score of 77/100 based on 59 critical reviews, the game garnered generally positive reviews.
