Pokémon Rumble U, the follow-up to Pokémon Rumble Blast, is an action video game in the Pokémon series that is playable on the Wii U. It contains all of the Pokémon from the first five generations. 4 players and up to 100 Pokémon can participate at once. The near-field communication (NFC) feature of the Wii U GamePad is used for the first time in this Wii U game. Pokémon Rumble U’s gameplay is identical to that of its predecessor, except in Rumble U, the user controls Pokémon and engages in combat against other Pokémon alongside them in arenas. When the game first became available in Europe, game stores gave out special edition copies that came with two NFC figurines, a poster, and a download ticket.
