Resident Evil: Revelations is a survival horror video game released by Capcom for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming device. A high-definition (HD) version was released for the Wii U and other platforms (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch). The game, which takes place immediately after Resident Evil 4’s events, centers on counterterrorism agents Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they work to learn more about a bioterrorist group with plans to infect the world’s oceans with a virus. The game has a single-player mode in which the player must finish a number of episodes involving puzzle solving and enemy defeat, as well as a multiplayer option in which players can fight their way through revised single-player settings.
