Rodea the Sky Soldier is an action-adventure game created by Prope for the Wii and Kadokawa Games for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, starring Rodea, an android with the ability to fly and a “heart.” Due to these qualities, Rodea decides to become a soldier in order to keep his commitment to defend the kingdom of Garuda, a cluster of floating islands, against the Naga Empire and its ruler, Emperor Geardo, whose empire is situated on the ground. In order to operate Rodea in the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions, players must first place a reticle on the screen with the joystick or control pad, respectively, and then press A to launch Rodea in that direction. Rodea: The Sky Soldier Wii U first-print copies included the game that was originally created for Wii.
