Romance of the Three Kingdoms 12, commonly known as Sangokushi 12, is the 12th installment in Koei’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Sangokushi) strategy game series. In Japan and Taiwan, the game was launched in 2012 for the PC, and in Japan, it was released in December 2012 for the Wii U and PlayStation 3. The game is available in Traditional Chinese and Japanese. More scenarios can be unlocked throughout the game. Sangokushi 12 has had mixed to unfavorable reviews since it was released in 2012. Players criticized the lack of naval warfare, lack of unit types, and the overall gameplay.
