Runbow is a platform racing video game that was first released for the Wii U and has since been transferred to the PC, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Runbow is the debut release from the Canadian indie team 13AM Games. It is a multiplayer-focused platformer in which players compete to be the first to complete each level’s award. Players can strike adversaries or extend their reach while jumping, perform a double jump, or both. Each level’s background alternates between a cycle of colors, forcing obstacles that are the same color as the background, such as spikes and blockades, to vanish. Reviewers were mostly pleased with Runbow. It received a score of 82 on Metacritic.
