Scribblenauts Unlimited is a puzzle sandbox video game that was developed by 5th Cell and published by Warner Bros. Interactive entertainment for the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Microsoft Windows, iOS, and Android. It serves as the Wii U console’s launch release and is the fourth installment in the Scribblenauts series. Scribblenauts Unlimited’s gameplay is roughly the same as that of the earlier games in the series. The player’s goal remains to acquire Starites by using things they make for a variety of purposes, and Maxwell is back as the main character. Compared to Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts, Scribblenauts Unlimited is more of an adventure game. Reviews for Scribblenauts Unlimited are conflicting. IGN praised the Wii U version’s innovation and level design while awarding it an 8.8 out of 10.
