Skylanders: Trap Team is a 3D platform game produced by Activision that was created by Toys for Bob and Beenox. It is the fourth game in the Skylanders video game franchise, and it was released for the Wii U and other platforms (Android and iOS mobile platforms, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Nintendo 3DS). Skylanders: Trap Team makes use of the Traptanium Portal, a near-field communication reader platform that scans NFC chips situated on the bottom of figurines. The figurines are then utilized as playable characters in the game. Later figurines known as “Trap Masters,” working with the Portal Master, must attempt to capture all criminals released by Kaos from Cloudcracker Prison, which housed Skylands’ most dreaded villains. The starter pack includes Food Fight and Snap Shot, two traps, sticker sheets, and trade cards.
