Sonic Lost World is an action-adventure platform game created by Sonic Team. It was made available on the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Windows platforms and is a part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Lost World follows Sonic the Hedgehog’s efforts to stop the Deadly Six, an alien tribe that serves as the game’s major enemies, from siphoning the world’s energy from the Lost Hex, the game’s setting. In the game, Sonic the Hedgehog is controlled by the player as he explores the Lost Hex to free imprisoned animals and battle the Deadly Six. Levels range from side-scrolling 2D to fast-paced 3D linear levels to levels set on spherical worlds. According to the video game review aggregator Metacritic, Sonic Lost World received mixed or mediocre reviews.
