Super Mario 3D World is a platform game released by Nintendo for the Wii U. Players take control of Mario and his buddies as they strive to save the Sprixies, or fairy-like creatures, from Bowser, who has invaded the Sprixie Kingdom. The gameplay involves advancing through stages to meet Bowser, just like in earlier Mario games. The game includes a character selection and introduces the Super Bell, a power-up that transforms the player into a cat so they may climb walls and use a scratch attack. Super Mario 3D World received positive reviews for its level design, presentation, replay value, and soundtrack, but several critics disliked the multiplayer mode’s shaky camera.
