The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a video game based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and the 2014 film of the same name. It is the follow-up to 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and is set in the same continuity, though not the same as the movies. It was created by Beenox. By including extra characters and elements from the Spider-Man comic books and other areas of the Marvel Universe, the game’s plot builds upon that of the movie. For Microsoft Windows, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox 360, the game was published on April 29 in North America and May 2 in Europe. It got mixed to poor reviews.
