The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is a 2002 action-adventure game for the GameCube developed and published by Nintendo. The Wind Waker on the Nintendo GameCube has been upgraded for the Wii U in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. The remaster’s graphics are more intricate than the original’s thanks to higher resolution rendering, a new lighting engine, and higher resolution textures. Some gameplay adjustments were also made, the most notable of which include the addition of new items—namely, the Swift Sail, the Tingle Bottle, and an enhanced Picto Box—as well as the addition of a Hero Mode.
