Wii Fit U is an exergaming video game developed by Nintendo for the Wii U system. Wii Fit U’s gameplay makes use of both the Wii Balance Board and the Wii U GamePad, and it comes with the newly released Fit Meter, an activity meter attachment. It is also the system’s sole game that supports the balancing board. Wii Fit U, like its predecessors Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, focuses on engaging the player in physical activities such as yoga and strength training by utilizing the Wii Balance Board, a platform accessory upon which the player stands during play that detects the user’s weight and center of balance.
