Nintendo’s Wii Sports Club is a sports simulation video game for the Wii U. It is an improved remake of the Wii Sports launch title from 2006, and it includes high-definition visuals, online multiplayer, and Wii Remote Plus functionality. The game includes all five of the original game’s sports, which may be purchased separately or rented for a certain period of time via a pass. Players, like in Wii Sports, utilize the Wii Remote to simulate actions made during various sports such as tennis, baseball, bowling, golf, and boxing. Critics gave the game mixed to excellent reviews, praising the controls and the addition of online multiplayer but criticizing the release format.
