Yoshi’s Woolly World is a side-scrolling platform game for the Wii U developed by Good-Feel and published by Nintendo. The game is the seventh main entry in the Yoshi series, and the first home console title since Yoshi’s Story in 1997. The game is set in an universe where the characters and surroundings are made of yarn and cloth, similar to Good-Epic Feel’s Kirby’s Yarn. Yoshi retains many of his moves from the Yoshi’s Island series, such as swallowing foes with his tongue and using his flutter jump to reach high locations. The game garnered mostly positive reviews, with critics appreciating the art design and inventiveness while criticizing the lack of challenge.
